Cindy has been President and Partner of HPB Association Management Services Inc. since 2001.  She has 40+ years’ experience in administrative and management positions.  Throughout her career, Cindy has had extensive experience in project management and has successfully executed numerous projects, both on a national and international scale.  Much of this valuable experience was gained over more than two decades at Canadian Pacific Railway, CPCS (an international consulting firm) and as Vice-President and Treasurer at the Railway Association of Canada.

Cindy is a graduate of the Management Development Program for Women at the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Ottawa.

Cindy has served on the National Board of Directors and was Chair of the Ottawa Chapter of the Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CanSPEP).

Martin MacCorquodale

Martin MacCorquodale is the Director – Engineering Services with Babcock Canada and is responsible for the business development and project execution of engineering programs across multiple sectors. Before coming to Canada in 2012, Martin supported Babcock’s Marine business by providing design capability and engineering management across a wide array of defence and commercial marine programs.

Martin has a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of Glasgow in Scotland and is a Chartered Engineer. He is a Member of both the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA) and the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME). He is also a Member of the Association of Project Managers.

Derek Hughes

CanPM Consulting Inc.

Derek Hughes, CanPM Consulting Inc., is a senior project manager and retired military officer [35 years in Canadian Submarines and Canadian Patrol Frigates (CPFs)] with a range of experience in complex program management, marine engineering and complex systems engineering.

Gerry Lanigan

Gerry’s professional career spans ship systems operation and maintenance, project management, procurement management in government and industry, engineering design, , and quality system development and implementation.  He has extensive experience with technical and engineering support contract and project management for DND, DFO/CCG, TC and other government departments.

He has been an active member of CIMarE since 1981, including Chairman of Ottawa Branch, National Council, and Mari-Tech Conferences.
